THE CAT SASS PROCESS

The easiest Catio is built away from the home with a tunnel from a window or pet door in the wall out to the Catio. Anything attached to the home requires more time and a different approval process as determined by your municipality. The timeframe for larger units is 4-8 weeks and smaller units are 2-4 weeks.

It is up to you as to whether or not you choose to check with your municipality for the Catio size your yard allows. Most municipalities refer to these as an accessory building, portable building, or shed.  

Some folks do, some don't. In the end, what we build is at your direction and your responsibility.

Once you know the size you’d like, make the selections that are included with your Catio:

• FLOOR: Choice of waterproof, washable & pet-friendly floor pattern placed over treated plywood.
• ROOF COLOR: Pro-rib metal roofing placed over a protective weather barrier and treated plywood.  (Shingle roofing is available if requested)
• KNEE WALL COLOR: The lower 20" of ground model catios serves as a protective barrier from yard visitors. Choose a color to compliment your home, even a wood or stone look.  (Wood and stone look options available at an additional cost as are full walls where requested )
• DOOR COLOR: Our heavy duty doors are also custom made and can be finished in a solid color to match your home or the rest of the Catio. (Wood and stone look options available at an additional cost)
• TRIM: Your catio and catio screen (durable coated screen that withstands climbing and protects your home from uninvited insects and critters) are trimmed out in a color that compliments the rest of your Catio.  (White is included, colors available at an additional cost)
