HOW IS CAT SASS DIFFERENT FROM ONLINE AND DIY CATIOS?
We are builders. We build structures that last and that are an extension of your home using actual building practices and materials. They are safe, sturdy, stylish, and sanitary. If you are looking for an inexpensive and disposable online or DIY option, a custom catio isn't for you. We are not glorified chicken coops or animal pens, and we're proud of that.
IS CAT SASS CATIOS LLC INSURED?
Yes, we are fully insured and licensed in Wisconsin.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
We're based in Omro, WI (Winnebago County). We service all of Wisconsin. Distance may add a little time to your build logistically and we may charge a small travel fee, but we're fair about it.
IS THERE A WARRANTY?
Yes. We have a one year warranty for defects on structural materials and workmanship. We do not cover normal wear and tear, natural disasters, improper use, accidents, or accessories. Both are industry norms.
CAN MY CAT LIVE IN THE CATIO?
Absolutley not. Catios are enrichment spaces, not living spaces. If you are looking for an alternative spot to house your cat(s), we are not the company for you.
CAN I ENJOY THE CATIO WITH MY CAT?
Please do! A big positive about how we design our catios and chose the materials that we do is so that humans can enjoy the catio as well.
WILL THE CATIO HOLD UP IN RAIN AND SNOW?
You know it. We only use materials that hold up in Wisconsin. From the roof to the floor, our catios are built specifically for Wisconsin.
HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS?
Plan on about 8 weeks from beginning to end. This timeframe includes contacting your municipality, planning, building, and installation. Certain cities and towns may have a longer permit process adding to the timeframe.
WILL YOU HELP IF I NEED A PERMIT?
Absolutely. If a permit is required, we can assist in filling out the paperwork. As the homeowner, you are responsible for the filing and any fees associated with it.
WHATT IS THE PAYMENT PROCESS?
50% down when you sign your contract, the final 50% is due the day of installation.
HOW MUCH DOES A CUSTOM BUILT CATIO COST?
Cost is dependent on many factors such as size and model. We can say that if you look up the cost of a "custom built catio," we are far less than what's out there in other states. And, we have a product much more suited to Wisconsin, looks better, and is also designed & built with cat guardians in mind.
